Tyro announces aged care solution, calls for integration partners ahead of major industry change
Leading payments company Tyro Payments has announced an integrated solution to support complex new claiming and payment processes coming into effect for aged care providers this July.
On July 1, the Australian Government will launch the Support at Home program, a new in-home care framework that will replace existing programs and change funding models. The major industry change requires aged care providers to change their business systems to accommodate new payment and claiming protocols.
Tyro’s integrated solution will allow aged care providers to seamlessly process Support at Home claims and associated gap payments from program participants. For software developers, these capabilities will be made available through Tyro’s existing toolkit of modern, secure, and certified APIs and software development kits (SDKs), enabling partners to be ready to support these new claiming and payment processes when they go live.
