The saying ‘there’s an app for that’ rings true at Tyro.

The Tyro App is designed to help you manage your business from wherever you are.

Tyro customers all around Australia are using it to keep on top of the cash flow and access valuable trading insights, on the go. But don’t take our word for it. In this article we share the stories of two customers who’ve used and benefited from the Tyro App, so you can see why it’s worth the download.

What our customers are saying

Gnocchi Gnocchi Brothers

Co-founders of Gnocchi Gnocchi Brothers, Ben Cleary-Corradini and Theo Roduner, know a thing or two about business growth — having seen their business expand from a single market stall to eight locations, establishing Australia’s first gnoccheria and the world’s first gnoccheria chain.

The Tyro App has been a trusty companion as they’ve watched their business grow.

“You can log in and see transactions on the go, anytime, even seeing how different locations are performing. It provides really great data, historically, that we can then use to make better decisions on when peak times are,” says Cleary-Corradini.

Adding to this, Cleary-Corradini says, “we can get information from recent transactions that we might be querying to see that it actually went through or not. So it’s an incredibly useful, easy to use app. I found that awesome!”

Cat and Fiddle Hotel

This iconic venue got a new lease on life in 2017 when owners Chris Matthews and Richard Wynne converted it into a highly sought-after bistro and bar.

Matthews says, of the Tyro App, “I’ve got both pubs on there at the same time, so it actually gives me a really good idea of which pub’s trading better or which pub’s…you know, how they’re going.”

“I can be anywhere in the world and know what settlements are going to be. So that allows me to manage my cashflow,” Matthew adds.

Transactions for Chris appear on his Tyro App 24/7, and settlements can be paid overnight between 5pm and 8am into his Tyro Bank Account.

Restaurant Manager Sue Whittingham says “it’s completely, completely integrated and seamless…we don’t have to think about it. The system has done all of that for us and it’s easy.”

About the Tyro App

Available on both Apple and AndroidTM devices, the Tyro App lets you view your EFTPOS and eCommerce takings in real time from anywhere, at any time.

In addition to the Tyro App, Tyro customers can also access the Tyro Portal, which provides past invoices, reconciliation reports, merchant service fee breakdowns, cards and verification methods, and cancelled or declined transactions. Here, you can also create reports of transaction amounts for each EFTPOS machine and each location over a specific period.

These insights are designed to help you to keep track of your payments, and make informed business decisions. For instance, with the real-time transaction information you can determine your peak periods and reconfigure your resources to maximise productivity and profit, which ultimately aids in business growth.
