Will the $200 contactless tap limit continue?
For the time being, yes.
The temporary change from $100 to $200 for contactless payments was planned to run for three months across certain cards and at certain retailers starting in April 2020. At this stage will continue until Government advice says otherwise.
Australian Payments Network has an FAQ here for more information: https://www.auspaynet.com.au/resources/ContactlessLimits

Tip:
Be sure customers know about the new contactless limit and any other hygiene measures your business is taking. You could install a sign at the door or near your POS, and add a note on your Facebook and Instagram accounts. Your customers will appreciate the clear communication.
