Tyro Guidelines – Embedded Payments

Product name 

You must refer to this product as Tyro Embedded Payments in the first instance. Any time you mention it thereafter, you can shorten it to just ’embedded payments’. Alternatively, you may reference that your POS (if enabled with Embedded Payments) has payments powered by Tyro. 

 

Advertising, promotional, and sales materials

When advertising Embedded Payments, you need to disclose that Tyro is the payments provider. You must ensure that there is clarity between the services that you provide (being the POS software, Embedded Payments Application and any hardware that is enabled as an EFTPOS machine by your Embedded Payments Application) and the payments service that is provided by Tyro. 

You may choose to: 

  • advertise Tyro as the payments provider; or 
  • advertise Tyro as the payments provider integrated with your POS solution.

 

Tyro logo and other marks

When featuring Tyro’s logo and brand (including Tyro-owned graphic symbols) (Tyro Marks) in your software, hardware, website and promotional /advertising material, please ensure you follow Tyro’s brand guidelines and requirements (Marketing Guidelines), and marketing review process. Use of imagery

You may use your own imagery in alignment with your hardware/software when advertising Embedded Payments. Any use of Tyro Marks in your imagery must comply with the Marketing Guidelines.  

 

Disclaimers

As a Tyro partner, you must include the general partner disclaimer (below) on all sales and marketing materials when you are featuring or mentioning Tyro. Additionally, other disclaimers might be required when you disclose Tyro’s products and features, including Embedded Payments.
