Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions govern this referral offer (Offer). By providing your details to Tyro Payments Limited (ABN 49 103 575 042) (Tyro) in connection with this Offer, you agree to be legally bound by the terms of this Offer.  

This Offer is only available to participants in the Tyro Broker Network who have received this Offer from Tyro.  

This Offer supplements the existing terms of our Agreement, which comprises the initial letter approving your application, any further letters updating your commercial terms and the Tyro Partner Program – General Terms (General Terms). Capitalised terms in this Offer have the meaning given to them in the General Terms unless otherwise defined in this Offer. ‘You’ and ‘your’ means the entity to which your initial Letter is addressed.    

This Offer is available to you from 9.00am 1 August 2024 (Sydney time) until 5.00pm 31 December 2024 (Sydney time) (Offer Period).    

To be eligible for this Offer, all of the following criteria must be met (Eligibility Criteria):

• During the Offer Period, you must have received a letter from Tyro approving your application to participate in the Tyro Partnership Program (TPP Acceptance Letter);
• During the Offer Period, Tyro has:
  • confirmed in writing your participation in the Tyro Broker Network; and
  • invited you to take up this Offer; 
• You must meet one of the following referral tiers (Referral Tiers) during the period commencing on the date of your TPP Acceptance Letter and ending on the date that is 3 months after that date (Referral Period):
  • 5 Referred Merchants (total reward $500); 
  • 10 Referred Merchants (total reward $1,500); 
  • 20 Referred Merchants (total reward $3,500); or  
  • 50 Referred Merchants (total reward $10,000);   
• For the purposes of determining the applicable Referral Tier, a Referred Merchant:
  • must be referred by you to Tyro through the Partner Portal in accordance with the General Terms; 
  • must have their Merchant Application approved by Tyro during the Offer Period; 
  • must not have been a Merchant with Tyro within the six (6) months prior to the start of the Offer Period;
  • does not include a Merchant in relation to which the Lead was provided by Tyro to you; and   
  • must not be an additional terminal or MID (additional account) to an existing location or existing ABN (excluding a merchant group, corporate group, buying group or franchise group which is a new business to Tyro).

Tyro may, in its sole discretion, determine whether or not the Eligibility Criteria are met.    

Provided the Eligibility Criteria are met, you will be entitled to a Visa Activ™ prepaid gift card for the corresponding reward amount for the applicable Referral Tier (Reward). You will receive a unique code within 6-8 weeks after the Referral Period, for you to redeem the Reward.  

Only one Reward will be issued for each partner who satisfies the Eligibility Criteria under the Offer. The Reward is limited to the corresponding total reward amount for the applicable Referral Tier. The Reward amount for each Referral Tier is not cumulative.  

The Reward can be activated through rewards.tyro.com and must be activated within 3 months otherwise it will expire and will not be reissued. The Reward cannot be refunded, replaced or exchanged, nor the expiry date extended. The use of the Reward is subject to the Activ gift card terms and conditions available on Activ’s website at https://activgiftcard.com.au/terms-conditions/.

The Reward under this Offer applies in addition to any Referral Benefits available to you under the Agreement. 

This Offer is not applicable in conjunction with any other Tyro offer.
