We’re into every business of ours, big time. So much so, that we’re super pumped to launch Tyro’s Big Buyout, with the help of our newest recruit, mixed martial arts legend and Tyro’s new “Chief Tap Out Officer”, Alexander Volkanovski.
Volk, alongside his sidekick Nicka, has been let loose with the company credit card and is heading to Aussie businesses around NSW to spend up big time. Who will be next?
For Tyro’s fourth Big Buyout for the year, we’re putting aside $10k to spend with a business that switches from an existing payment/EFTPOS provider to Tyro before 16 May 2025.
Imagine what a $10k ‘Buyout’ could do for your business! Nominate yours here today.
Huge congrats to The Agrestic Grocer in Orange NSW who have won Tyro’s third Big Buyout! This buyout aka ‘The Helpful Buyout’ was for existing Tyro customers in need of a helping hand.
Beau and his team gave away $10k worth of fresh, graze-worthy, local produce from their business thanks to our Big Buyout. To see how it all went down, watch the wrap video here.
Volk’s first hit-out! We sent the Aussie legend to local favourite and Insta sensation, Up South Bondi, where he dropped thousands of dollars on baked goods, matchas and sweets, to share with locals.
Up South Bondi has been a much-loved Tyro customer for 5 years, and thanks to using the Tyro Pro EFTPOS machine, thousands of their customers have been able to tap and pay for their favourite goodies.
We dropped in to surprise Up South Bondi business owner Cherry and her customers as a way to say thank you. Check out the full video to see how it all played out.
Armed with $20k to spend on food, drinks and giveaways, our “Chief Tap Out Officer”, Volk, and his trusty sidekick Nicka went down to Hotel Ravesis to throw the ultimate end of summer bash.
Volk was joined by Lucy Washington (who has collaborated with Peking Duk) and DJ Mad Day to put on some fresh tunes at the event. Watch the event video to see how it went down. (Spoiler alert: it was epic).
Hotel Ravesis has been another valued Tyro customer for 6 years, and this buyout is our way of saying thank you to their team and customers.
Tyro’s Big Buyout competitions are where we turn up to Tyro’s Aussie businesses for a day to ‘buy them out’ by spending a total maximum value of $10k worth of their stock. It’s our way of showing support for our customers and how we’re genuinely ‘Into Business Big Time’.
