FAQs

  • Can I apply for more than one position?

If you feel your skills and background align to more than one of the open jobs then we’d love to hear from you. Remember, the qualifications listed through our job descriptions are there to help you select the role that aligns best with your skills and background. It is your experience and skills that our People Team looks for when reviewing your application.

  • What if I am not an Australian citizen or permanent resident?

We’re a global family – we come from 43 different countries and speak 56 languages. Tyro is also an accredited business sponsor and can provide visa sponsorship for successful overseas candidates who meet visa guidelines. Reach out to us for more details if you’re eligible.

  • Will you accept CVs from recruitment agencies?

Tyro does not accept unsolicited agency CVs. Please do not forward resumes to the team if you are not one of our listed preferred recruitment partners. Tyro is not responsible for any fees related to unsolicited resumes.

  • The role I am interested in is full-time but I can only work part-time. Should I still apply?

Yes, absolutely! We are a workplace that values and promotes flexible working arrangements. We’re always looking for ways to make work meet the needs of our employees and candidates without too much disruption to our customers and the operations of business. If you can only work part-time, we could possibly explore a job share option or we can work out ways for you to perform the role on a part-time basis, if possible.

  • I couldn’t see a role suitable for me. Can you keep my CV on hand and let me know when a suitable role becomes available?

We’d love to. Please send your CV through to careers@tyro.com and one of our recruiters will reach out to you if a suitable position becomes available in the future.

  • Who should I speak to if I have questions about my application?

Please send your enquiry to careers@tyro.com

  • What can I expect in the recruitment process?

Every recruitment process is different and with so many different roles here at Tyro we like to take a bespoke approach to each new recruit. We’re interested in exploring our candidates’ skills and experience and what they’ll bring to our strong and positive culture. Your dedicated recruiter will discuss the recruitment process with you on their first call with you.

  • How long will the recruitment process take?

A typical recruitment process can be as quick as a couple of days or up to 2 weeks. We aim to keep the recruitment process to a 2 week maximum from first call to offer stage.

  • If I’m unsuccessful, can I reapply for other jobs?

Just because you are unsuccessful for the role you applied for, it doesn’t mean you can’t apply for another potential suitable role at Tyro. Speak with your dedicated recruiter if you think your skills could be a great match for another of our roles.

  • What can I expect when I join?

We are super excited to have new people join the Tyro family. To make sure you have the information you need, we have a structured onboarding program that is designed to answer all your questions and help you get to know the Tyro business. Learning doesn’t stop at the onboarding journey, we’re always building our skills by helping you develop yours.
